Requirements Discovery Through Rapid Prototyping

We believe the most detailed requirements are not discoverable by groups of people simply discussing and writing ideas down on paper. Rapid creation of prototypes helps stakeholders uncover and flesh out needs, stimulating dialog between and among stakeholders and developers.

The most robust designs are those that have been modeled in advance. Frequent, iterative prototypes are an essential part of the design process at Authentrics.

Documentation

A goal we have at Authentrics -- and one we have not yet fully achieved -- is to automate the development of project documents. Starting with specific Requirements fleshed out as described above, System Design and Validation Plan elements should be traceable back to each. Validation tools should assist in testing to see that each requirement has been met (completeness), in addition to testing for correctness.

Our QA experts work with the best tools available to try and achieve that objective, providing as much automation as possible, providing the 'human-in-the-loop' where necessary.
